Death Tax Markup in Ways and Means Committee

CAPITOL HILL ALERT: Death Tax legislation next month!
Newsweek reports that the Ways and Means committee will likely markup (draft, debate, amend, and report to the House floor) an estate tax bill after the Easter Recess.You can read more about the committee’s plans, here.
A committee markup does not necessarily mean that the House (or Senate) will vote on the bill, but it does start the ball rolling.AFBI will closely follow these developments. Check back regularly for further updates.
