AFBI Oped in Today’s Investor’s Business Daily

In case you missed it: AFBI’s President Dick Patten had an op-ed in today’s Investor’s Business Daily about Senator Bernie Sanders’ proposal for a 65% Estate tax.
You may remember that Senator Sanders introduced his irresponsibly-named “Responsible Estate Tax Act” (S. 3533), to bring the death tax back to life – retroactively – at the top rate of 65%. This bill plays to class-warfare, greed, and envy. You know, the basic talking points of our opponents.
Patten’s op-ed dissects the proposal and explains how the real issue is not sticking it to billionaires, but the family businesses, farms and jobs that the Estate tax destroys.
